The bolts look simple, and in fact the high-end bolts are really not simple. This starts with the technical requirements for bolts in high-end applications. The technical requirements for bolts for high-end applications are as follows: 1. Corrosion resistance requirements, measured by the number of hours of salt spray resistance test, generally require more than 720 hours; 2. Strength requirements; 3. Tightening torque consistency requirements.
Corrosion resistance requires electroplating coating. Generally, zinc-aluminum coating, zinc-iron coating and zinc-nickel coating are required according to the requirements of salt spray experiment. Strength requirements require the use of high quality steel and a stable heat treatment process. The tightening torque consistency requirement is more complicated, which is a combination of various factors: Firstly, the consistency of the raw material and the stability of the heat treatment process are required to make the hardness and metallographic structure of the bolt after heat treatment uniform; secondly, the critical size of the bolt is required to be stable. Sexuality, generally requires tolerances to be controlled at 0.01 mm; the final is to require the consistency of the plating coating, not only the thickness of the coating is required to be stable, but also the composition of the coating is consistent. It is easier to reach a certain number of indicators, and it is more difficult to meet the requirements of the indicators, not to mention that large-scale manufacturing can meet all the performance requirements.

Bolt manufacturing first requires the purchase of wire of standard diameter from a steel mill, and then drawing to obtain a wire of a specific diameter. There is no problem in China in this respect. The next step is the cold heading process of the bolts. This process requires the use of a cold machine. Generally, the bolt manufacturing requires a 5-station cold machine. The first station is interrupted, and the wire is broken according to a specific length, and the length of the blank breaking needs to be precisely controlled. The next few stations are progressively formed bolts (except for threads). These processes require control of length, diameter, and other critical dimensions, and tolerances need to be controlled at the 0.01mm level. In addition to the stability of the cold machine, this process requires a very high requirement for the cold heading mold. After all, all the dimensions are guaranteed by the mold. The domestic situation is that the molds can basically be made in China, but the high-end cold machine is basically monopolized , the American National Machine and the German and Japanese manufacturers. The domestic and Taiwanese Leng Dun aircraft basically monopolize the low-end market.
The third process is the thread. The use of a squeegee thread on a threaded machine is also a key process, and the stability of the machine and the requirements for the core plate are also quite high. The high-end silk reeling machine market is basically monopolized by Europe and the United States, and the low-end market is occupied by Chinese and Taiwanese manufacturers.
