General Corrosion Of Stainless Steel

This type of corrosion usually occurs uniformly over the entire metal surface in contact with the corrosive medium. Basically, the performance of stainless steel is not enough to resist the corrosion of chemical solutions. In layman's terms, the "grade" of stainless steel is not enough.

To prevent such comprehensive corrosion, only this contact medium can be replaced, but for a mature process, this is unrealistic. Therefore, stainless steel with a higher "grade" is generally used, and the order is generally 304, 304L, 321, 316, 316L.
