201 has a duller color, and 304 has a smooth and bright surface.
201 is far less resistant to corrosion and acid and alkali than 304, 201 is brittle, and 304 is tough.
If it is scratched with a knife, 201 has scratches, but 304 does not. You can also judge the colored reaction with potion.
