Strictly speaking, stainless steel does not have the level of food grade.
The so-called food grade stainless steel is just a common name. One refers to the stainless steel varieties recommended for food-related purposes in many national standards before 2016, and the other refers to the stainless steel products that meet the standards after the promulgation of the national food safety standard "National Food Safety Standard for Food Contact Metal Materials and Products" in 2016 .
304 stainless steel can meet the ex-factory standard, and basically there is no problem in passing the food safety standard.
There are some derivative models of 304. The three numbers of 304 are often followed by relevant letters. These models are not necessarily suitable for food contact.
In addition, some bad manufacturers add some specious symbols in front of 304, such as SBS to fool people (note: only the ones with SUS in front are authentic Nissan 304 grades).
