The quality judgment of the nut surface treatment is mainly to check whether the anti-corrosion ability of the nut is effectively increased, and whether the increase range meets the expected requirement. After the surface treatment of the nut, the appearance of the nut can be more beautiful, and the corrosion resistance of the nut itself will also be improved. The main purpose is to make the nut itself obtain anti-corrosion capability to increase the reliability and adaptability of the use of the nut.

Electroplating, hot-dip galvanizing, and mechanical plating of the nut surface are the most common methods. We will introduce them separately.

    1. Nut plating

The electroplating of the nut means that the portion of the nut to be electroplated is immersed in a specific aqueous solution. The aqueous solution contains some deposited metal compound. After the current is passed through the aqueous solution, the metallic substance in the solution is precipitated and adhered to the immersed portion of the nut. on. Plating of nuts generally includes galvanizing, copper, nickel, chromium, copper-nickel alloys, and the like.

     2. Hot dip galvanizing of nuts

Hot-dip galvanizing of the nut is performed by immersing the nut of the carbon steel composition in a plating bath of zinc dissolved in a heat of about 510° C., so that the iron-zinc alloy on the surface of the nut is converted into passivation zinc, thereby obtaining a surface treatment effect.

    3, mechanical plating of nuts

The mechanical plating of the nut refers to the impact of the surface of the nut by means of a specific physical and chemical means with the powder of the plated metal, so that the plated metal forms a coating on the surface of the nut through the cold welding to achieve a surface treatment effect. Mechanical plating of nuts is mainly applied to spare parts such as screws, nuts, and gaskets.
