  1. Construction environment requirements

  2. (1) Temperature: minimum 4°C, maximum 35°C, at least 3°C higher than the dew point Relative humidity: maximum 85%

  3. (2) Construction is not allowed on rainy days or windy days above level.There should be no rain within 8 hours after the construction is completed (pay attention to the weather forecast, and arrange the construction period reasonably). After 1~2 days after the rain, the base material must be dried before the construction can be carried out again.

2. Coating construction technology, method and technical requirements

(1) Coating method: The commonly used coating methods are mainly brushing, roller coating and spraying. Considering the actual construction conditions, saving materials and improving performance, the primer is recommended to be brushed to improve the adhesion of the primer, and the topcoat can be brushed or sprayed (depending on the working conditions).

(2) Matters needing attention in the coating process

1) The quick-drying multi-functional epoxy paint selected for this coating system is a two-component paint with a ratio of 1:1 (volume ratio).

2) Before use, stir each component evenly with a power agitator, slowly add the curing agent to the main agent while stirring according to the volume ratio, and then stir it evenly.

3) Under the temperature of 25 ℃, the two components of the quick-drying multifunctional epoxy paint need to be cured for 30 minutes before use, and it is recommended to use it up within 4 hours. Therefore, the paint mix must be formulated as required. The thinner must be added after curing!

4) In order to adjust the thickness of the coating and the difference between the coating methods, the thinner can be added in an appropriate amount; the thinner for the fast-drying multifunctional epoxy paint is R7K15 thinner, and the dilution amount is less than 5% (volume ratio); general alkyd primer paint thinner is R2K4 thinner, and the dilution amount is 10~20% (volume ratio).

5) Pay attention to the overcoating time interval when painting, and the subsequent paint can only be painted after the previous paint has dried. Before painting, check whether the paint is clean and dry.

6) Do not remix the previously remaining mixed product with the newly mixed product.

7) The dry film thickness of each paint must be checked after it has dried. There are 10 random inspections per 100 square meters, each of which is 1 square meter, and 10 points are randomly inspected per square meter; the minimum thickness of each point shall not be less than 80% of the design thickness, and the average measured The error between the dry film thickness and the design dry film thickness should be controlled within ±5% of the design dry film thickness.

(3) Coating quality requirements

1) The paint film is firmly attached to the substrate and the paint film, and cannot be peeled off or peeled off;

2) The dry film thickness of each paint film meets the design requirements;

3) The base surface is flat, and no unevenness is allowed.

4) There are no defects such as leakage, sagging, pinholes, etc., the paint film is smooth and plump, and the color and gloss are uniform;

5) The overall effect is harmonious and beautiful.

6) After painting, the coating needs to be cured for 7 days before it can be completely cured. Before curing, attention should be paid to the protection of the coating.
