The process of using electroplating followed by stripping off the coating can achieve a good degreasing effect. This process method is based on the appearance of the zinc coating on the plated layer, which is inspired by the bright, mirror-like coating.

This process can be carried out in used galvanized solutions. When it is found that the oil loss on the surface of the plated part has not yet been completely removed, it can be plated with 1-2 minutes of zinc in the discarded galvanized solution. Plating can achieve the purpose of removing oil.

The main function of this process is to remove a part of the oil film during galvanizing. When this layer is removed, the residual oil under the zinc layer will be scraped off together with zinc, thus purifying the surface of the workpiece and completely exposing the steel surface. For the normal deposition of the plating later created the conditions. The following three points should be noted when using the method of removing oil.

(1) Do not perform in a normal galvanizing solution. Because the surface of the plated parts is oily, it will contaminate the galvanized solution and cause the consumption of the plating solution. The waste galvanized solution can also solve the treatment cost of the waste plated # solution and achieve the purpose of killing two birds with one stone.

(2) The galvanized layer should not be too thick. Excessive thickness of the galvanized layer is not only useless for degreasing, but it will also be treated with “zinc ash” and evenly coated with zinc. However, if the galvanized layer is plated several times, it is very significant for removing the oil.

 (3) The acid from the zinc layer is as clean as possible. After the zinc is removed, it can be re-plated by running water, the acid of the engine is relatively dirty, there is too much oil, copper ions, etc., in addition to affecting the binding degree of the subsequent plating, it will also contaminate the plating solution
